But if the FPM loses I would be first to lose whereas FPM's MPs or cadres will still be where they were before.

That's why it's very important for us to show FPM's leadership where we think they are going the wrong way and what are our propositions to remedy that.

For example, I've been showing some reserves concerning Aoun's demands of judging medias such as L'Orient Le Jour and Al Moustaqbal for publishing wrong stories about the Sojoud incident.

This move will only affect FPM's image in the media and will show a distorted face of the FPM (not because they hate the FPM, but if you were in L'Orient's place and someone asks for you to be judged what would you do ???)

The FPM should become friendly with the media in order to show its real face to all the lebanese and not only the ones who watch OTV, NewTV, Manar and NBN!!!

We need to have a complaint, or people's department because the first ones to lose will be us and not Aoun or Kanaan or Bassil or anyone else
L'Orient and Al Mostaqbal are propaganda newspapers. Any person with the ability to think knows that...

What l'Orient wrote was disgusting. There exists also journalism ethics. Journalism has to abide by some rules: objectivity, neutrality/independence, intellectualism, moderation.

Instead, it invented a story (bye bye objectivity), it took sides (bye bye neutrality and independence), it didn't look into the facts and reflect on what happened (intellectualism in that newspaper was long dead anyways), and it incited hatred (bye bye moderation).

While I agree with you that Aoun should refrain from attacking newspaper as directly as he did, I believe it is strategically well-done. Why? By confronting l'Orient le Jour, he has turned l'Orient le Jour totally against him. Anyone who read l'Orient's answer to Aoun could see how humiliated they were, and how it is their ultimate goal to bash Aoun at every turn. What is happening, is the final shift of l'Orient, from a pseudo-neutral newspaper to an entirely partisan and propaganda newspaper!

In other words, Aoun's bashing of l'Orient has credited l'Orient. But l'Orient's answer(s) discredits its and credits Aoun... But that is mere speculation.
