Well let's talk about that instead of pinpointing at EVERY single thing wrong with the world that has nothing to do with that!

Enno come on, everybody knows that arms dealing is wrong! And we should fight it! Don't hold every person responsible for these things, the same way I don't hold every person responsible if that girl gets married at that age! You could extrapolate as much as you want, won't change a thing.

I would be very happy to talk about arms dealing, but no longer in that thread, because it has gone way to far, as if you wanted us to talk about something else!

Let's talk about the abuse of the 3rd world by western people! Let's talk about the abuse of maids in Lebanon. Let's talk about slavery in the 19th century! Let's talk about colonialism! I'm not against talking about these things bess man dakhilak this thread is about something else!

We say their culture that permits such behavior is wrong! This is directly related to their culture! Then you say ooooh but culture that permits arms dealing is good? Akid la2! But I disagree with the fact that that is part of "our" culture! In fact, "our" culture totally opposes such things! You may say that blindness to your governmental behavior is part of our culture tayyeb. But that's what's wrong with the world isn't it? Unaccountability, non-transparency, the fact that people are more individualist, apathy... I totally agree! But that's like inherent to human behavior as a whole! It is something that should change, but is it part of western culture only? All cultures experience such things! But I believe there's one fundamental thing good in our culture, it is that children should not be abused! It is the freedom of expression and all individual freedom!
