And when you talk about "exploiting" resources, please give us some examples! As far as I'm concerned, the days of colonization are gone and over with! If you want to talk about the old days fine. But today, the only exploitation of people is done by locals. Western industries in 3rd world countries are much more ethical than local ones. When people talk about Nike's case of child labor, they forget that it was in the past, and it was done not by Nike itself, but by companies employed by Nike!
Today, Nike is the most ethical company in the world. Not only does it not exploit people, employ children, but it also offers education to the children of the communities it employs!
So stop it with the west and its values! The west has more values than the rest of the world! If people are backward in the west, if men are low lives drunken bastards, if women are dirty sluts, it is their own choice, nobody forced them into anything!
The idea is that the biggest of all individual rights, the most important value of all, is freedom of expression! And that 8 year old girl did not get her right to decide, it was imposed on her! Talk about all the moral relativism that you want, you know in your heart that it is wrong, disgusting and should be condemned!
