Israel is giving new meanings to the terms hypocrisy and arrogance. They will not allow any neighboring country to match their military strength, or even come close to it. I have news for them and all the Lebanese who want to disarm HA.
HA’s strength today exceeds that of Israel’s in a conventional confrontation between the two. Not in terms of technology, but in terms of the ability to use weapons to maximize their intended effects. Israel is getting very restless; the US backed off trying to get rid of HA, and at the same time HA has gained weapons that will shake Israel’s existence in case it tries to venture into Lebanon like it did in 2006.
Very few understand the abilities of HA, some of my previous posts carried hints of what’s in store for Israel in case another war erupts.
In 2006 HA possessed weapons that could’ve drastically altered the war, the use of those weapons was deemed not necessary at the time. HA knew that the war was not a decisive one and to reveal what they had would give Israel the advantage in the next round. HA used enough weapons to shock the Israelis and their masters in the US. HA also knew that they could hold their ground, preventing the IDF from establishing a foothold on Lebanese ground. HA hardly used any of its vast resources in the July war, be it human or military. One brigade only was doing the actual fighting while others were on standby in case they were needed. Less than 5000 fighters participated in that war against the 50,000 Israel massed against HA.
Israel did not learn as much as we did from the July war. We now know exactly how to defeat them, and this time around they will be begging for mercy.
In the last war test incursions were done to study the feasibility of infiltrating the border and occupying towns in northern Palestine. The incursions were a complete success; towns were completely taken and occupied for periods of time than withdrawn from.
The advantage that Israel has over us is the air force. When that threat is eliminated, and stopped at its tracks, the Israeli defense will fall like domino pieces. That threat has been eliminated, and could’ve been in 2006. Israel and the US know that very well.
We will not give Israel any excuse to launch a war, but they will find one and they will attack. All I can say is prepare yourselves to be awed at the abilities of the few thousand dedicated, unknown men who seek nothing but the chance to defend their land and honor.
