Now, if HA does the same, then the story changes. Common sense, my friend, common sense. |
...because when what you describe as "lebanon" gets armament, they are to be used as mazhariyyeh in saniora's bathroom.
if lebanon or hezballah or whoever buys weapons, who's the target?"israel",ofcourse!
so then, why would "israel" feel threatened and would want to declare war when hezballah gets weapons but not IF "lebanon" gets weapons?
even the so called "decision of peace and war" to be held by the govt. is simply for the fact that the decision to go to war to free land or prisoner would never be taken by the govt.it is not related at all with any argument of sovereignty whether you think hezballah is working for or against the country's sovereignty.you simply want the dead lebanese govt. to solely have the decision in its hands because it will never use that decision of war and "israel" would have peace and rest of mind while our country continue to suffer from occupation and israeli violations.
the question now,is why hasnt "lebanon" bought weapons including anti-aircraft missiles and why hasnt "lebanon" bought enough weapons of all types and kinds to protect itself?
what is the guarantees that "israel" wont even react worst with "lebanon" than with hezballah?and what guarantees that "lebanon" would be able to withstand the israeli fire power like a guerilla movement built in secrecy?
and i want to repeat the question i have always asked without response:why didnt the lebanese state send its forces in the late 70s when imam musa al sadr was urging it to take its responsibilities to protect its citizens from israeli aggression and palestinian gangsterism?or the state is now willing to do when the people have found an alternative (in themselves) and have come to confirm that sovereignty is indeed from the people?does that sound right,or there is something fishy?
