I was more concerned with the noise from the neighbours I just hate it and for the time I spent in beirut, I could see this kind of noise happens a lot. Not in all areas, though. I spent a night in the house of a friend of my family and I almost couldn't sleep. Children and women sreaming, men jumping all night. Maybe I'll spend some months in Lebanon in next year and I think your post will give me a big help.

I just hope the Lebanese government change the non existent noise laws. I thought I was sleeping in the jungle!
