Well actually having small quakes is much better, since the global strength impact of the earthquake is divided.
it's like a car crash. 5-6 mini crashes @10km/h is much better than to have a huge crash @ 60Km/H against another
usually big earthquakes take place in one shot, with eventually a few small ones that come AFTER, but very rarely before.
this is why, big earthquakes are very difficult to predict.
so in my opinion the Israeli statement is b******t and aims at creating a panic state in southern Lebanon.
