I think it being thinner, and the fact that 2.0 software will be available for V1 in July 11, it would be a good choice to get the V1, to get the thinner phone, plus all the 2.0 updates with the exception of 3G technology which has no value in Lebanon. |
I have to note that there is a big chance that the version 1 iphone prices might increase because:
1) V1 has been sold out since March so if you want to buy one it is going to be used (most probably unless you find some on ebay)
2) V1 is unlocked but it MIGHT take more than 2 months to unlock V2 (as happened when the 1.1.2 update was released), and thus their prices might increase. ( I have V1 and I refrained from selling mine now although I going to get the V2)
3)If you get V2 and it was still not unlockable, you will end up with a relatively expensive ipod ( and this is only the best case scenario)
