. but what I meant for OTV is that GlobeCast WorldTV company, it is like the dish network of the free to air channels
, addressed on their website that starting May 1st, OTV is not going to be free any more, but fortunately I can still watch it.
about the "legal" issue, what receiver do you have?
I have the newest sonicveiw ( it has a USB port) and the guy send us the file (mostly in the same day ) by e-mail and just put the file in a USB flash and transfer to the receiver and voila....................and he doesn't charge us for the "update" service.
otherwise, you probably have to wait for "the cable guy" the will charge $20 each time you have to update the file. ( since you live in Montreal, most probably my cousin is " the cable guy") .
