I think you are overreacting, the sale of vitamins, minerals and herbs is not illegal, some of these herbs work really well, for example glucosamine and fish oil for arthritis, while others mau be useless. Herbs do not fall into the same category as medications therefore large double blind studies are not required for them.
These ads are annoying, but at the end of the day TV stations need to make money. If these ads are in any way misleading then the governemnt should take action, not OTV. |
