1- Elie Khoury is director of Saatchi & Saatchi and he is behind many adds to Hariri from the campaign in 2000 elections (قولنا و العلم) to 2005 electoral campaign (لأجلك).
he was also involved in teaching Saad Hariri to be more charismatic and even change his accent.
on top he's involved with the US army in Iraq making adds for the latest Iraqi elections and in Jordan as well..
He's a regular visitor to DC and especially Cafe Milano.. This guy is well connected at all levels, especially when it comes to business with the americans..
by the way, he is good at what he does, he is gifted..
2- we cannot impose on companies to use OTV. they may have all the reasons in the world (besides politics) to use other more competitive TV stations..
3- in response to point #2, i think that OTV should release surveys revealing the true position of OTV in the market and how attractive it is and with good prices, big companies (with no political affiliations) will pressure Choueiri and others to advertise on OTV.. |
