The buildings were "classé patrimoine national", i.e. part of our culture and heritage. Another building that is "classé" is the one on Sodeco at the crossing. I don't know if you picture which one it is, but it's at the top of Rue de Damas, opposite Sodeco Square. Luckily for our culture and heritage, this building does not belong to Solidere. It's in a lousy state (owners don't have money to renovate it), but whoever buys it can't destroy it, since it's "classé".
