There was 4 ways of dealing with the Syrians :
1- Aoun way , fighting and scarifying your whole army and country without any hope of wining , if you recall , syria was given a green light to enter lebanon .
2- 8 March forces , excluding HA , whom they haven't any popular base and they had to depend on syrians to protect their political interests .
3- HA which had a strategical alliance with syria , backed by iran , trying to achieve his goal , like or not , to establish an islamic republic of lebanon
4- Rafik Harir way , who tried to deal with them , knowing that under the past circumstances , there is no way on earth to kick them out . He had a goal to reconstruct his country , to rebuild faith in a country called lebanon , that can , if left alone , be a message of peace and "dialogue" to the whole world . there is a famous arabic proverb that say : la takon kal l shajara iza atatha l ree7 inkasarat , bal kon ka sonbolat l kame7 , tota2te2o ra2saha wa tabka .
Let's please forget about the past and look toward our future , and let's stop the hate propaganda that it only have one goal , to build religious tension .

FYI (that is For Your Info in case you're too young to understand), Aoun's 2 "destructive wars" as you call them, and way of dealing with the Syrians are the ones that got them out, and not someone like Hariri who was licking their boots in order to get wealthier and be able to run the economical side of this country as if it was his own company.
Hariri's way of dealing with the Syrians was none other then a cowardly, shamefull and prideless way, ones intelligent and educated people would call COLLABORATING, and I can assure you that collaborators do get hanged in some countries (where the population has pride, not like in Lebanon where we have idiots like yourself who can find a million excuses for collaborating with the syrian occupation). Unfortunately, your idol got assassinated, and I have to note:
NOT BECAUSE HE OPPOSED THE SYRIAN REGIME, RATHER BECAUSE HE JUST PAID THE PRICE OF CLOSELY COLLABORATING WITH THEM FOR 15 YEARS AND ASKING FOR A BIGGER PIECE OF THE PIE (he wanted economics + political instead of just economics).
