Israeli warplanes swooped low over South Lebanon and the Bekaa on Friday in defiance of UN resolutions, causing sonic booms over the coastal city of Tyre, police said. Israeli reconnaissance aircraft passed over Bint Jbeil at 8 a.m. and stayed in Lebanese airspace for three hours, conducting concentrated flights over Khiam. |
