I posted an article few weeks ago about Homosexuality, and directly one of the community moderators moved it. When I asked why, the answer was: “… we want to make sure that the level of the forum doesn’t drop down”.

Please for God sake, read what this guy is saying. For God sake this is a direct and inhuman discrimination. He is discriminating more than 25% of the Society (this is the minimum percentage of gay and bisexual people in Lebanon) in the name of the Bible. Please the book was written to inspire us for a better life. Not to ruin or rule our life.

I can’t blame the Guy; he is just a Homophobic person who is trying to express his fears. And he found few words in the Bible to support him. Let him keep his phobia and his believes for himself.

But I do blame the moderators… Be clear about that subject. If you don’t accept the Homosexual people, just say it so we can take that in consideration and think again about the policy of this forum and this party. But I know well that this mistake is from few moderators who are not taking in consideration the image of the party.

The homosexuality is not my real concern but the way such delicate subjects are treated over here.

Don’t ruin the beautiful image that we saw in this party; a FREE PATRIOTIC movement. A dream of a free country where all humans are equal, are free to believe in what they want, are free TO BE WHAT THEY ARE.

The content of the post of any member including the one you posted reflect only his opinion and does not reflect on the image of the forum or Free Patriotic Movement as you suggested.

Let me assure again that the forum does not condone discrimination of any kind including upon sexual orientation as clearly stated in rule 6:

Rule 6 6 - Flaming (inflammatory speech) Any speech or inference, direct or indirect, that constitutes (i) a personal attack against another individual or group, (ii) offending discrimination based on, among others, race, nationality, religion, sect, gender, age, economic class, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, and familial status, is prohibited. Do not insult other users for their ideas/opinions no matter how ridiculous they may be. Sarcastic remarks should be avoided.

Yet the forum respects the freedom of speech of all members and the post you quoted does not constitute discrimination as the poster is interpreting in his own way (which again the forum is not responsible for) what the bible says about homosexuality.

As for the reason your thread was deleted, you can ask the moderator who undertook that decision. My own judgement upon reading you thread is that it is redundant as the subject of homosexuality has been discussed in >1000 posts in following threads:
