Stella, that was what they used to tell us in catechism. It is completely rubbish.

And that guys become impotent.. ( just off topic, to say that sometimes any religious brainwash gone of the edge is only to induce fear and complex!!)
You ask if people can testify what's the difference before and after? As LebanesePride mentioned, it is quite impossible to find an adult "cobaye" (guinea pig) for this atrocity nowadays!
I can only tell you about my modest experience with men

and there is a HUGE difference if talking about sensitivity, performance, self confidence etc.. Men are always obssesed with their ***** :) so why make it more problematic for them?! Haram..Whether it could do any good to men/ women or not ( which i'm sure it can't!!) as i said in a previous post I am completely against this sadistic defiguration of the human's body considering that you are violating the baby's rights as a free individual!!
Inanna, why are you differenciating between man and woman. That's sexist. No one should go under the knife for this!!
I can tell you this : Hygiene can be achieved by washing! So simple.
If in the old times, diseases were more common and this practise was essential

I don't think that it should be a problem now, with all what the chemical industry ( in my case natural products

) has to offer in terms of cleaning agents. :)
