I did not say modern Islamism, I said moderate Islamism. Anyway I do not consider these people to be Muslims at all, and have serious issues with those who claim Turkey is the model of "successful" Islamism....

Anyway, disparities in developments of regions is present in all countries, as is extremism, etc., perhaps you should also look inwards, because you might be surprised sometimes at how many things you did not know about 'yourself'... :) By the way, are you saying that those people are "extremist Muslims"? How do you define extremist Muslims? Do you consider me one, for example?!? I guess you should distinguish between ultra-nationalism/fascism and religious fanaticism. :)
