It is about 'moderate Islamism' in Turkey, and modern-day Turkey's place in regional and world affairs. It is neither a glorification nor a demonization thread; from what I understood, it just aimed at starting a discussion on the issue of Islamism and how (or if??) it can (possibly) be reconciled with the west.
