Lebgirl- a fetus is defined as "a developing human from usually three months after conception to birth " (m-w.com). SO, a fetus is actually the baby. You cannot define when a baby is a "person". There has been much debate on that exact issue, and in the end it is relative to the person and their comfort level.

I agree that if a woman is raped she should have the option, and it is usually safer to do it within the first 2 months. I don't agree that socioeconomics should play into it. We aren't talking about adopting a pet here. People should be responsible from the start, but for people to be responsible they should be educated, and unfortunately sex-education wouldn't be embraced in Lebanon even though it is needed. Easier access to contraceptives would also help, but it seems to be somewhat taboo in Lebanon in some places. This worries me alot actually. We don;t have a high rate of sexually transmitted diseases in Lebanon, but we will get there if we aren't careful...lol...i'm intereseted in being a doctor..can u tell;)...sorry if i went into a lecture there...can't help it:)
