I tell you. One of the most beautiful places I have seen in lebanon is on the road between Jezzine and جباع.There is a little town called حيطورة
It overlooks a valley quite forested still and with spectacular views. It's almost like being in the Alps. I advise anyone who is into nature to go there and stop just before you get to حيطورة from Jezzine and feast your eyes on one of the most splendid views in Lebanon.

That is how the Metn used to look like in the old days before all the bulding went up.
To get there turn south at the army checkpoint on Saida-Jezzine road.

Another one is the view from Ni7a caves ( where reportedly Fakhreddine hid when the Ottomans wanted to break his neck) towards Bkassin. If you go there in Spring, all the hills are so green and covered with wild yellow flowers. If lucky you get to see eagles and birds of prey.
