I would like to share this with everyone :

Diabetes is known as a Chronic disease and it's commonly heard by everyone.
This disease can happen to anyone at any age and anytime !

Since 2006 there has been global awareness campaigns about Diabetes along with the support of the World Diabetes Organization in order to achieve an official decision about Diabetes in the UN.
Since then, there is a Special Bus touring all the world to reach as much people as possible and educate them about Diabetes and its affects.

From 2006 till 2008 , this bus has been all over the Five Continents and visited many countries such as : Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, South Africa, The United States, England, Ireland, Canada, Japan, China, Australia, India, Poland, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey.
Around 170,000 people visited the Changing Diabetes Bus, almost 70,000 glucose screening tests were done... Those campaigns helped in spreading awareness among people and it reached around 640 million people through a large media coverage.

Lebanon will welcome the Changing Diabetes Bus during 10 till 15th of October 2009. It will park in 4 main cities :

- Beirut : 10,11,12 Oct
